At Envita, we are committed to conducting business in compliance with ethical standards and all applicable laws, rules and regulations. We expect and hold our suppliers accountable for conducting business honestly and responsibly. Our Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the commitments we expect all suppliers to adhere to.

Supplier Services

We collaborate with our supplier network to develop customized waste disposal and recycling solutions and are looking for suppliers who specialize in the following areas:

Hazardous Waste

Poses a threat to health or the environment due to physical, chemical, or biological properties. (ex: flammable, corrosive, toxic)

Non-Hazardous Waste

Materials originating from different sectors, businesses, industries, and institutions.

Solid Waste

Diverse array of non-recyclable materials that are discarded as useless or unwanted.

Liquid Waste

Any wastewater or discarded liquid material that may contain dissolved or suspended solids.

Recyclables and Reuse

Material that can be reprocessed into new products, reducing waste and conserving resources. (ex: paper, glass, plastic, and metals)

Organics

Biodegradable materials that can be used for a higher purpose like food scraps.

Material Handling Equipment

Equipment like compactors, balers, densifiers and shredders to facilitate the collection or transformation of materials for maximum efficiency.

Industrial Cleaning and Abatement Services

Tank and trench cleaning, water blasting, demolition, asbestos/lead abatement and other specialized environmental services.

Supply Chain Compliance Program

We hold our suppliers to a high set of standards and expectations. Envita maintains a Corporate Supply Chain Compliance Program, administered by the Corporate Supply Chain department, to review and consider suppliers utilized by Envita to effectively manage waste types and secondary materials generated by our customers. Our Supplier Approval Program and accompanying business practices are designed to provide flexibility in reviewing vendors for consideration as suppliers based on their relative environmental risk, market sector, consideration of waste management hierarchy, as well as site and company-specific information.
