A major packaging company discarded several thousand tons of filter cake from their wastewater treatment processes at each beverage can production facility. For years at most of their facilities this material was discarded in a landfill. This company was looking for better methods to help minimize their waste disposal volumes to achieve zero-waste-to-landfill status in as many facilities as possible.

The customer established itself as one of the most sustainable food and beverage packaging companies in the country by transforming 28 of its facilities into zero-waste-to-landfill operations.
