Envita Solutions is proud to announce the release of its 2024 Corporate Responsibility Report, a major milestone that reflects the deep commitment to people, planet, and community. As a science-driven organization and a leader in total waste management across North America, they’re working day in and day out to shape a future where operational excellence works in harmony with environmental responsibility, and Envita has the numbers to back it up.

From innovative waste management solutions to employee wellness and philanthropic programs, this report showcases how the company is turning bold goals into action and measurable progress.

Below are some key highlights from the 2024 Corporate Responsibility Report.

Expansion of Zero-Waste-to-Landfill Certifications

In 2024, Envita helped 16 customers reach zero-waste-to-landfill status, bringing the total number of customers Envita assisted to over 260 since 2011. In addition to supporting customers, they became a 100% zero-waste-to-landfill (ZWTL) enterprise, reflecting the company’s leadership in promoting zero-waste initiatives.

Carbon Neutral Operations

In 2024, Envita achieved another major milestone: carbon neutrality across its North American operations. This was accomplished through structural changes and the procurement of carbon credits guided by ClimeCo.

Comprehensive Sustainability Reporting

Envita utilized The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and EcoVadis for comprehensive sustainability reporting. These assessments focus on climate change, water, supply chains, forests, and cities, enabling Envita to transparently communicate its environmental impact and progress.

Envita’s People: Workforce Development and Safety

With operations spanning multiple countries, Envita enhanced inclusive hiring, provided targeted safety training, and introduced well-being programs to support physical, mental, and emotional health. These efforts underscore the company’s commitment to building and sustaining a thriving, engaged workforce, and its 90% retention rate in 2024 is a testament to the commitment to a strong culture.

Envita is committed to transparency and collaboration. The 2024 Corporate Responsibility Report not only serves as a record of progress but also as a roadmap for others seeking to translate sustainability goals into real-world action. Check out the newly released report.
